Extended Crafting is like crafting. The difference is that it adds "tool requirement".
When right clicking extended crafting table, the following GUI would show.

It's like normal crafting table GUI, but two requirement slots is added on the right arrow. The difference between requirement slot and crafting slot is that tools in requirement slot is damaged instead of consumed. For example, a trowel can make 64 clay bowls as trowel has duration of 64 and each crafting need 1 of them.
Extended crafting could make anything crafting does. However, some items in tao land can only be made by extended crafting.
